Hitendra Dev Shakya has been appointed as the Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority. The Cabinet meeting held on Monday appointed Shakya as the Executive Director of the Authority.

Shakya was appointed as the Executive Director of the Authority on the proposal of the Ministry of Energy. Today’s Cabinet meeting had decided to dismiss the current Executive Director Kulman Ghising from the post.

Ghising’s four-year term was to end on July 24. However, the government removed him before the end of the term.
